It’s been a long, long day, especially because the scenes for today called for a night shoot, which wrapped up around 1 a.m. We got some beautiful footage, including some of the most poignant scenes that appear toward the end of the film. For those of you who are newer to the filmmaking process, for a number of logistical reasons, we typically shoot a film’s scenes non-consecutively, and then piece them together in post-production.

A key person in that process for our film is my good friend Lonnie Urven, our editor for “All Is Merry & Bright” — so I thought I’d introduce you to him tonight!
