Just checking in quickly to let you know that the Omaha shoot went fantastic!! We packed a lot into those 5 days! Thank you so much for praying!! And thank you all who were “extras” in some scenes. I felt bad for those of you who did the outside shots in the freezing cold, but it just endears you to us even more! I thought our team made the shoots really fun, informative, and entertaining! We definitely have the right slightly-warped, but very talented, people working on this film :). There were a few hiccups along the way, but it all worked out great! We got tons of shots of Omaha, so it should feel authentically like Nebraska when we see it on the big screen.
God has been so good to us!! He is hearing and answering our prayers!
No updates on casting yet. If I hear something I’ll try to email you another quick update.
The only prayer request I will add is for our Composer, John Mark Painter. He will be working on the music over Christmas and is very excited to do it! 🙂 Please pray for creativity, inspiration, and that he can capture the tone of each scene.
